I’m finding I really like doing color work, specially in this style. With it’s pointy tips and checker patterns. (Sorry for the lousy phone pic.)<\/p>\n

I started the 2nd one\u00a0last saturday, so a mitten in a week seems doable. Even though it took me several months the\u00a0finish the first.<\/p>\n

Okay it took me Dec to mid-August. It has been so long I had to double it check on \u00a0my\u00a0Ravelry page<\/a>. I guess my partner is a very patient man.<\/p>\n

I am really liking the book, despite my not actually using it very much.
\nAnd enough with what I’m working on now– lace shawl- what?<\/p>\n

Let’s see what I want to start next.<\/p>\n

\"reversible<\/a> First up hat of my own making, I reeeally need a better name than revresable snood. But there \u00a0you go, I learned how to do brioche knitting a fews years back and made up this hat as an excuse to use it. I like to use one solid yarn and one multi colored. If they match really well it results in a awesome blending effect.
\nAny who I have one planed in tans and blacks next.<\/p>\n

My next idea is to do Wunderlust<\/a> which a friend of mine has knitted up and now I must have a pair too. I just luv big squishy cables.
\nI have some of this green yarn from another project, hopefully there’s enough or I’ll have to go shopping…<\/p>\n
