I’ve taken on a few (maybe to many) challenges to help me with my goal of working down my stash. So here’s what I’m planning for them, if anyone has better idea’s or would like to share what they are doing, I would love to hear.
\nSo I have found (by found I mean it was posted weeks ago and I somehow missed it) the next challenge from Craft Challenges,
\nand I don’t know if I’m relieved or kind of disappointed.
\nBut the Feb challenge\u00a0is… Stash Busters!<\/a><\/strong>
\nWhich is good, but the whole general goal of the other\u00a0challenge I’m doing is stash busting.
\nSo I’m going to try to do 2 separate projects, but if life gets in the way,
\nBOOM!
\nOne project, two challenges. And DONE.<\/p>\n

My idea’s right now are a Blarf<\/a>\u00a0(Scarf + Blanket=Blarf. Am I making\u00a0this just<\/span> for the name? Probably.)
\nand\/or Braid Neck Scarf<\/a>\u00a0(but there’s no pattern available so I will have to wing this one.)<\/p>\n

Speaking of the other challenge, Cold Sheep added a quarterly project Bust-a-Long.
\n<\/a>If you don’t do reddit, I’ll sum it up here.
\n“<\/span>From now until April 30, your challenge is to knit that project you\u2019ve been meaning to make but just haven\u2019t gotten around to.<\/strong> Perhaps it\u2019s a sweater? Or a baby blanket for your friend\u2019s now-toddler? Or maybe you\u2019ve had your eye on a lacy shawl since you started knitting but you haven\u2019t felt up to the charts. Whatever it is, now is the time to get knitting!”<\/span><\/p>\n

\"ombre-cowl-600-1-2\"<\/a>I’m thinking I’m going to try doing the Ombre Cowl<\/a> from the Purl Bee.
\nI’ve wanted to do it forever, and after I spent some time poking through projects others have completed,\u00a0I think have some idea’s for yarn I can use. Yarn\u00a0that is\u00a0all from my stash!<\/p>\n

I just read the Cold Sheep’s monthly challenge and I’m kind of relieved. I think I’ve got this one in the bag.
\n“This month, in honor of Valentine\u2019s day, your challenge is to knit something – anything, with any yarn – for someone else.”
\n<\/strong>I have a pile of yarn all ready to go to make\u00a0a forsaken themed hat for my\u00a0fianc\u00e9, all of it from the stash.<\/p>\n

\"Oddity_yleiskuva2_medium\"<\/a>And just to keep things interesting, I’ve signed up for the Reddit knitters group Febuary\u00a0Knit-a-Long<\/a>. I’ve joined team Oddity<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I’m going to use some Knit-picks fingering I bought with no plan. Buying things with no plan is an issue I hope this whole thing helps address.<\/p>\n
