better late… no really it’s almost midnight here

I’ve become rather fond of the way jetpack and WordPress “mosaic” together my photos, but that doesn’t really work when you’ve only got 2 or 3 together. Maybe waiting a whole month is just more visually appealing.

I’ve finished up to clue 3 for Blooms N’ Things Mkal, by Natalie Volyanyuk, lots and lots of short rows it’s interesting and very stripy.
And stretchy, seriously I’m using really stretchy sock yarn for this one.

Plus 2 pictures make a lousy mosaic…

I’ve finished clue 3 for the Tales of Suspense Mystery KAL, by Lotta Groeger as well.
But I’ve already had to alter the pattern because I added rows and increases earlier, because I was worried it would be to small, because I didn’t really read the materials list very well and I using fingering yarn instead of dk like it calls for so it’s all turning out a little small-ish.
But neat, it’s very cool.
So I’m going to repeat my altered clue 3 and then I’ll take the newly released clue 4 and alter that too to finish it… Hopefully.

I deliberated over this this for over a week, should I pull out the blue/gray linen color or not. Finally I did, because it was obviously bothering me.
I replaced it with a darker green linen yarn, that also happened to be on sale.
It’s a lighter weight yarn than the rest, but I don’t mind the contrast. As of today I’m about to start the last chart, the one with the beads.
Yay! Beads!

I started another Mkal that I signed up for a while ago, Earth by Erica Jackofsky (Fiddle Knits). It took over an hour of swearing at the pattern to realize she’d kindly put the chart at the bottom of the three pages of written instructions. It’s really crazy how bad at using written patterns I am. Plus I just hate it…
Anyway it’s coming a along alright, but slow. I’m enjoying the yarn if nothing else, it’s Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. Which I have never used before.
And will likely use again.
