a month of a #yearofmaking, but no blogging…

So I completely failed to review my year of making projects the same way lots of people just stop doing things, I just plain forgot the first week, and nothing really happened. So I figured I’ll just do 2 weeks next Monday.
Then Monday came and almost went, because I didn’t remember till I was already in bed. And I thought I could get up out of my warm bed OR just do 3 weeks next time.

march battle plans

I was all set to start my geek knitting project this morning for my March Craft Challenges project. When I got the news.
_81605421_02864380-a0c7-4171-b052-42ca996cea47Sir Terry Pratchett, probably my favorite author passed away.

His writing has made me laugh okay snort  like a proper dork in the middle of a quite room, loud enough to cause everyone to stare at me.
And I was selfishly looking forward to another Disc World novel featuring Sam Vines.

So I’m sorry Big-head, your gloves will have to wait. Screen Shot 2015-03-12 at 2.28.17 PM
I know you will understand, but I must pay tribute and make something Disc World inspired. Not decided yet, but maybe Death of Rats.

The Cold Sheep challenge is out too,
“March’s challenge is to knit something in your favorite sports team colors! Whether it be a blanket, a beer cozy, or a scarf”
I can’t say I’m trilled about this, & I don’t have any solid idea’s yet.

Okay that’s all I’ve got in me today.

“So much universe, and so little time.” – Terry Pratchett

february challenge wrap up

I finished weaving in all the ends on projects thats have been just sitting around and were otherwise finished this week. Continue reading
