So I completely failed to review my year of making projects the same way lots of people just stop doing things, I just plain forgot the first week, and nothing really happened. So I figured I’ll just do 2 weeks next Monday.
Then Monday came and almost went, because I didn’t remember till I was already in bed. And I thought I could get up out of my warm bed OR just do 3 weeks next time.
Then the third kind of just flew by and then it was the forth… and so on.

And now it’s a little over a month, but here goes…

There was some gloves with the reddit knit-a-long.
I managed to finish 2 pairs which was kind of awesome.
I even died the yarn for the green pair.

I finished almost 2 Mkals, but I’m not sure I like the 2nd one much so it’s just waiting for me to decide.

The SO’s words were “It looks granny-ish in those colors with the pattern.”

I finished my brown lace shawl, which had been languishing on the needles for over a year.

It turned out huge.

I cast on and finished (just last night) another huge shawl, but on nice big needles for my aching wrist. This one covers the April reddit-Kal and the cold sheep challenge, which is…

And this reminds me very much of the weather here in Minneapolis.

I should admit here I completely failed to finish my March cold sheep project.
Because I suddenly developed issues with simply soft yarn. Don’t get it, I’ve been knitting with it for years just fine. Now I just don’t want to touch it.

Plus I had to start it twice, this is as far as I got on both tries.

I finished this cabled cowl, despite my sudden dislike of 100% acrylic yarns.
I’m very happy with it, though and the boys won’t stop stealing it.

I started 2 new April Mkals, I’m keeping up okay on both and very happy with how they are coming along.

Started a non-mystery Kal for Boo knits Changeling pattern, I’m knitting it with half stash yarn, half stuff I picked up to match. I’m not 100% sure about the colors, but I’m going to finish it. NO FROG!!!

I started another shawl for my sister. I am loving this pattern so far, I’m not in love with the yarn ( I think I picked it up from the thrift store), it’s old, discontinued and is a mix of wool and nylon? And very, very red- it photographs horribly.

But she probably won’t destroy the yarn, so it’s probably a good choice for her.

I cooked some food.

Crocheted more coral

It doesn’t seem to grow much though.

I’ve been sweeping and vacuuming almost everyday because it’s spring and there is pet hair EVRY WHERE, ALL THE TIME. Trying to bike everyday (#30daysofbiking), but my knees have been protesting that and with the crappy weather it’s hard to feel truly guilty. Even made it to the gym more.
