So I was asked not to share this before most of our family had been notified and then when they had and facebook was told I didn’t get around to sharing it here. (warning: have I mentioned I’m a geek?)

So me and my partner (the name I used instead of love of my life, to sound less corny), are engaged! And this is how we shared it.
If you don’t instantly get it, we photo-shopped our faces into a what I assume was a promotional pic or such for Doctor Who. Specifically the fourth Doctor, from the late 70’s played by Tom Baker. I was nice and let my fiancé be Baker, not that pretending I was the gorgeous Elisabeth Sladen was so awful. The quote is also from the show, but from more the recent 11th Doctor’s run. There is a lot of meaning here for us, because my having dressed up as Baker’s Doctor for Halloween is what caught his attention, and what got us talking and what got us here.

Which is a pretty nice place to be honestly.
