So it’s Sunday,
time to review the last week ( the 18th-24th) of my year of making.

Sunday the 18th.
I feel I cheated a little this day, but I spent the morning cleaning and playing games with my family, and then the evening picking up this little dude.
This is Bandit, my first foster puppy.
So because he was late getting there and I was tired I’m counting it.
I “made” a difference, in his little life anyway.

Monday the 19th.
I spent the morning working on this. But while I was trying to keep an eye on the new guy and I rushed up stairs to print this then rushed back downstairs, then quickly before he could meet the hot iron applied it.

AND only then remembered, you need to flip it around before you print an iron on.
Oops.

Tuesday the 20th.
I can’t remember what I did for most of this day. I went to the gym and was just spent the rest of the day. I did make at least 2 meals for us, cleaned mud off the floor and puppies feet. Poked through my stash, wrote in my blog. Organized some pictures on my drive. And at last I finely got around to putting a pompom on this hat.

Wednesday the 21st.
Started off wrong, I got other things done, but not much, I should have been working on some WIPs, but instead I just stared at them, cuddled the foster puppy and cruised cable patterns on Ravelry.

Then I started this hat, just to make myself doooo something.

Thursday the 22nd.
I got in a mock argument with a family friend on Facebook. I was demanding he send me pizza, he said he wanted a picture first.
It’s not much, but it made him laugh and I just drew something. I’ve been feeling kind of dried up in that area of my creative life for a awhile now. So it felt good to be playful about it.

Friday the 23rd.
On Monday, a bunch of our local thrift stores were having 50% off sales, I didn’t really need anything, but I got lucky and found 3 items made with lovely yarn. I feel a little awful about this, because someone hand knit this. But I didn’t like it as a this cowl, and I LOVE the yarn. So I’m reclaiming it, and hopefully make something AWESOME with it.

Saturday the 24th.
I spent most of my evening watching Death Comes to Pemberly, drinking boxed wine, working on another hat that I almost finished and then restarted all while enjoying the company of the dogs, it’s so nice to have them around when they aren’t chewing/fighting/rough housing and just cuddling instead. I also accidentally stayed up till 4am and I’m still tired.
