I’ve been all kinds of productive/creative this last week, I’ve managed to be busy enough doing it I forgot to take pictures everyday. 

Sunday.
I died a little chunk of lots of different fibers with the hopes of spinning it the next day.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t dry until Tuesday when I could start combing the locks. Haven’t spun it yet, but the colors turned out awesome. 

Monday & Tuesday
Did more work on the Scarp busting project.

Wednesday.
I did something that needs to be done now and then.
The mending.

For some reason all my shirts have been getting holes on the same spot, right over my belly button. No idea why. Plus there is the usual assortment of seem pops and there was even a sock this time.
Bonus, since I had the needles out I wove in ends on 3 or so projects thats where waiting to be done. Including these mittens.

Thursday.
My friend wants the pattern for the above mitts, so I started charting them out.
I’m using chart minder.com here, I might switch back to an exel spread sheet though.

Friday.
Family night, it was my choice so we all drew and ate calorie laden pizza.

Saturday.
In the morning I flicked combed these locks which I dyed earlier in the week. They turned out much much brighter than I was expecting.

BUT, it was really nice out, and much like of vitamin D deficient Minnesotans, we went out side. Later I sat in the sunshine (inside) and finished spinning something I started Friday night. I’d started it on a spindle I’d made myself. It worked okay but needs a little work yet.

And I think I need a new featured image for these posts, another project for the week?
